Compromises With Evil

To paraphrase *** and expand: If you declare yourself as a neutral between American and its foes, between those who are pro-life and those who favor abortion, between the biological imperative of reproductive sex and that of homosexuality, between the Judeo-Christian standards of justice and the Islamic worship of death (As genocide, retail murder, rape, perpetual war), between service to the community and worship only of self, THEN your "neutrality" is a bias in favor of all that is evil, destructive and harmful to humans and humanness

The above standard and measure especially applies to candidates for public office, those who hold such offices,editors, bloggers, all other teachers at all levels and in all institutions (Public and private) and all other "leaders" in our nation and world.

Advise For Alderman Michael McGee, Jr.

Based on information provided me by inmates and ex-inmates during my 34-years of professional work in corrections, my advise to Mr. Michael McGee, Jr. is: In the county jail or "club fed" and if you drop a bar of soap in the shower room, squat to pick it up and do NOT bend over to do so!

One way or another, Mr. McGee should also be prepared to learn that rape and other abuse is not limited to women victims. When and how he learns that fact, he may reflect on some of the women he has abused over the years.

John Edwards, Memorial Day & Martine L. King, Jr.

Candidate John Edwards encouraged his followers to misuse Memorial Day, 2007 to protest, with signs and actions, the war against terrorism now being waged in Iraq. No doubt the usual suspects in the media and his Party will defend that violation of a most sacred day as an exercise in democratic freedoms. I wonder if the same reaction would be had if some white sheeted KKK clowns would misuse Martin Luther King, Jr. Day to parade about with signs reading "BACK TO SLAVERY", "SEGREGATION FOREVER" and such other like insults.

Did I Mention Politicians ?

We have relied on the same old "educational experts" within our public schools and universities--And, have failed to make any real improvements in the public education of too many of our youth: Perhaps, we should fully commit to the free market and use both private (Including those based on Faith) and other contract schools (Both chosen by parents or legal guardians) and provide training and funds for home schoolers.

We have relied upon "gun controls" and the politicians and political police chiefs, for safe streets, playgrounds and schools---And, have failed to secure even the hope of such safe places for ourselves and our fellow citizens. Perhaps, we should rely on law abiding teachers, school administrators and other citizens and arm them with concealed weapons, and have the thugs (Rather than innocents) bleeding out their lives in the gutters.

We have relied upon the same politicians (Too often bought or leased by hotel owners, mega-farm operators and an few others) and the Border Patrol's administrators (Building their careers on the safety and bodies of their line workers and of all citizens and legal immigrants) to keep the flood of drug smugglers, bearers of untreatable diseases, job thieves, gang bangers, identity thieves and such from flooding across our Southern border--And have failed to so protect this nation. Perhaps, it is past the time to treat such invaders as such and to use the regular military, national guard, general militia and, armed, civilian volunteers to do whatever is necessary to repeal those invaders.

We have relied on politicians too weak to challenge the "University Industrial Complex" and upon U-Administrators who are not committed to the education of our youth, receiving instead only in-university corruption and waste and the conversion of the universities to be the slaves of industrial interests and self-serving university administrators. Perhaps, it is past the time to elect the presidents of our public universities (As we elect a State Superintendent of Schools) and Regents or "Boards-Of-Visitors" as we elect school board members).

We have relied on oil bought politicians and limp wristed religious leaders who continue to "reach out" to Muslims, accommodate their practices and beliefs AND tolerate their aggressive attacks on our lives, beliefs and culture---All without recognizing the danger of doing so. Perhaps, it is time to legislatively and judicially declare that Islam is NOT a religion; But, is a 1400-year old criminal-terrorist movement and a danger to all civilized persons---And, to take appropriate actions thereafter.

We rely upon self-centered politicians who, even if among the few with military experience, and political generals (Unlike such fighting officers as Sherman, Patton and Schwartzkopf) who deprive, for selfish reasons, our troops of the best weapons and defensive measures: With both such generals, after retirement, and the politicians, always, working for well paying defense contractors.

We rely upon politicians, editors, commentators, professors, lawyers, clergy and others who have never known war or other hardship service-to-the-nation to misguide and mislead us as to the nature, goals and means of war---They not understanding honor or sacrifice or real service to their fellow citizens of today and of tomorrow NOR of the lessons of history which might allow us to avoid repeating the worst lessons of the past.

DID I MENTION POLITICIANS??? Perhaps we, too soon, gave up the fine old American tradition of the liberal application of warm tar and chicken feathers to such to keep the others slightly more honest. Or, perhaps, we should apply the suggestion of President Thomas Jefferson (The same whose statement as to the "separation of church and state" is so often quoted and as often misinterpreted) to, from time-to-time, "water the tree of liberty with the blood of tyrants" (ie Some of those politicians I noted above).

Adams on Jesus Christ and Christianity, Relative to Muhammad and Islam

DNA Testing NOT Absolute

There are enough identical twins in this world (A few split up for adoption at birth) to cast some doubts as to the claimed absolute reliability of DNA testing as to resolution of guilt-or-innocence in the Courts as such twins do not appear to have any differences in DNA.

In addition to the matter of identical twins, genetic "chimeras" also represent a threat to the scientific base of DNA testing in the courts.
For example, the genetic markers of DNA tests on the skin found under a victim's finger nails or sperm in that person's body may not, in such case, match up with a sample taken from the inside of the mouth (The prescribed and non-intrusive judicial method) of an accused person.

M&Ms Do NOT Melt---Into The USA

The company which sells the candy "M&M" began its most famous advertising campaign by the statement "They do not melt in your hands ...". I think that there is enough proof that, to a great extent, the other M&Ms (Mexicans & Muslims) do not "Melt Into America ...". That is, they do NOT accept the authority of our democratically determined laws (Against illegal immigration or suicide bombing) or the necessity of learning our common language (Which is also, to a great extent, a world tongue basic to international business and science) and the best of our national culture and customs.

Those who attempt to sell the open borders program for such M&Ms do not convince me (And should not convince anyone) to "buy" such a poison capable of great harm to the basic nature of the USA.

Swearing On The Koran--Courts & The Congress

Federal Judge Paul Ridgeway (Raleigh, NC) has ruled upon the petition of the ACLU (American Christian Loathing Association) that witnesses may take in-court oaths on the Koran for those who find that text "...most sacred and obligatory upon their conscience".

As the Koran's teachings (As well as the other Islamic texts and behaviors) allow or encourage, if not command, the use of murder, rape, genocide, perpetual war with "unbelievers", mistreatment of all women and non-Muslims (As supported by other Islamic teachings and the record of Islam over the last 1400-years) perhaps that Judge will allow like the use of Hitler's Mein Kampf as it supports many, if not all of the same teachings.

Since the ACLU has previously defended the "rights" of Nazis and appears to be selectively in favor of supporting any persons or groups which attack Western and Christian civilization, they will no doubt rush to the aid of any KKK member or American Nazi who demands to take in-court oaths on Herr Hitler's writings.

As the Congress has allowed a new member to take his oath-of-office on the hate-filled Koran, perhaps they will allow future member so do the same with Mein Kampf or Marx's Das Kapital or Chairman Mao's little red book. Perhaps, some other Federal Judge will to the same for our courts.

Academics & Military History/Service

The column below was published just in time for the Memorial Day weekend.

It is too bad that the columnist was unable to determine how many of the noted historians served in the Armed Forces (Or, did "Alternative Duty" as required when we had a military draft or like service as in the Peace Corps).

Those who cannot base teaching on such personal sacrifices are, perhaps, very unqualified to teach about military history. Perhaps, they should not be teaching. The same should hold true for: Members of the Congress (Although some "vets" as Jack Murtha and Senator McCain do forget essential lessons when too long inside the belt line); Editors and those reporters who write about the military; Clergy who maintain that war never solved problems (Except for slavery, Nazism, etc.); And, other like "leaders and teachers".

The Western Roman Empire lasted much longer than the USA may last as a democracy. It may be that one of the reasons basic to that survival was the essential requirement of military service before election to the higher civic offices. Such "Roman virtues" might be of benefit to the USA. It might be that such service (Or, alternatives) be required of those who wish citizenship in the USA.

Persons finding themselves in a position to influence the selection of history, political science, ethics and like teachers (Or of Regents or university administrators), you may wish to consider their prior public service as, at the least, a "tie breaker" in that selection process.

America as we know it might not exist without the battles of Saratoga and Yorktown, without Gettysburg and Antietam. The world the United States shaped so decisively in the 20th century might have looked different if it weren't for Normandy and Midway.
Battles are so important to history that their names alone -- Vienna, Waterloo, Stalingrad -- can evoke the beginning or end of epochs and empires. Violent conflict is one of the most persistent characteristics of human history, and warfare features the interplay of strategy, weaponry, chance, logistics, emotion and leadership. It is the occasion for folly and brutality, and -- as we remember on Memorial Day -- heroism and sacrifice.
It is for all these reasons that books and TV programming on warfare are so popular; their subject is both fascinating and important, history at its most consequential and dramatic. Nonetheless, military history has been all but banished from college campuses. In an article on this strange deficit in National Review, John J. Miller chalks it up to "an ossified tenure system, scholarly navel-gazing and ideological hostility to all things military."
History departments are dominated by a post-Vietnam generation of professors for whom bottom-up "social history" is paramount, and the only areas of interest are race, sex and class. History focusing on great events and the "great men" central to them is retrograde -- let alone military history that ipso facto smacks of militarism. Hence, the rout of military history from the academy that Miller catalogs.
Edward Coffman, a former military historian at the University of Wisconsin, studied the 25 best history departments according to U.S. News & World Report rankings and found that a mere 21 professors out of more than 1,000 listed war as their specialty. A Notre Dame student complained recently: "We have more than 30 full-time history faculty members, but not one is a military historian. Even in their self-described interests, not a single professor lists 'war' of any era, although half list religious, gender and race relations."
Even professors who supposedly specialize in military history do it through the prism of trendy academic obsessions. Miller notes a professor at West Virginia University who lists World War I as one of his "teaching fields," but his latest work is on "the French hairdressing professions" and the "evolving practices and sensibilities of cleanliness in 20th century France."
The gatekeepers of the profession practically proscribe traditional military history. John A. Lynn recently looked back at the past 30 years of the prestigious academic journal The American Historical Review. He found no articles on the conduct of World War II, the American Revolution or the Napoleonic Wars. There were articles that discussed atrocities in the English Civil War and in the American Civil War and an article on World War I -- on women soldiers in the Russian army.
One frustrated teacher of military history jokes that military historians have become "exactly the types of marginalized people that the social historians are supposed to be championing."
That military history has been chased from the academic field is especially perverse given that, when the classes are offered, they are popular with students. And military history, as a discipline, is as vital as ever. Writing on the American Heritage's Web site, Sarah Lawrence College professor Frederic Smoler argues that "the past 30 years have seen a brilliant expansion in the intellectual and methodological breadth of military history," beginning with the publication of John Keegan's 1976 classic "The Face of Battle."
None of this is enough to overcome the deep intellectual bias against military history. New Republic contributing editor David A. Bell locates that bias deep in the social sciences: "The origin of these sciences lie in liberal, Enlightenment-era thinking that dismissed war as primitive, irrational and alien to modern civilization." This represents a fundamental misapprehension of human nature and thus the nature of history.
Brave men always will be necessary to defend freedom, and what they have done deserves to be remembered, and studied.

Last Sane Decision On Muslim Immigrants

The last sane decision on Muslim immigrants was made (In the interests of national security, identity and civilization) by the Spanish in the year 1492AD when all followers of Mohammed (rihf) were expelled from the Iberian lands.

We have had another 500-years of experience with Islamic murder, rape, genocide, robbery, lies, Islam's self-declared and perpetual war against all "unbelievers" (To this very day in such places as the Sudan and Thailand). We now know more about Mohammed (rihf) and have found him to have been a treaty-breaker, bandit, murderer and the sexual abuser of a nine year young girl child.

"Illegals" Good For Business

Yes, illegal immigrants are good for business! Why, without them many would be out-of-work. Some examples of such are those Funeral directors and grave yard laborers who must facilitate the burial of such as Kenosha County's Deputy Sheriff Fabiano (Being buried today) and the many others murdered by illegals; Those who build and staff state and federal prisons to house the many, many, thousands of such economically helpful invaders of the USA; The social service, public schools and health care workers who would be forced to spend their time and other resources on only our citizens and the few legal in comers who really require them; Those who arrange for the transfer of many millions of US dollars to other nations, a actions so helpful to our balance-of-payments; Lobbyists and others working for the very few mega-agriculturalists, hotel owners and others who benefit from cheap labor; And, others of the same, very specialized, interest in NOT preventing drug smugglers, terrorists, identity thieves, bearers of untreatable diseases, job thieves, gang bangers and the like from flooding across our border with Mexico.

Of course, we could first and fully secure our Southern border, then (And, only then) set up a guest worker program and other changes in our immigration laws.

Needed: Martyr Bishops

MY LETTER BELOW, AND THE MUCH BETTER WRITTEN COLUMN BY MR. DAVID WARREN, WERE SENT TO THREE CATHOLIC ARCHBISHOPS.

Your Excellencies:

During the peaceable war of the (Truly) Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. he and his followers were willing to face jail time, high pressure fire hoses, attack dogs, storm troopers' clubs and tear gas and the like as true martyrs for their, very Christian, cause.

There have been too few of our present day bishops willing to bear such witness (ie Be martyrs) as to abortion mills, deviant "catholic" politicians, free speech (ESPECIALLY IN THE CRITICAL PERIOD JUST BEFORE GENERAL ELECTIONS), Islamic aggression and subversion, free press and, in the USA and under its Constitution, the "free exercise of religion". Too many lack the courage to do so---And, to set an example for the rest of us (Both Catholics and others).

Within the Church they appear more willing to engage in internal, sometimes very unchristian politics, tinkering with essentially meaningless translation controversies and such as have little, if any, impact on the faithful and the Faith. They fail to take actions against allegedly Catholic high schools and colleges where heresy abounds and against such liturgical and architectural abortions which undermine the sense of the sacred and the true worship of God.

The newspapers of too many dioceses print only pablum and refuse to also bear witness as our bishops should. (For a different type of Catholic column, please read that reproduced below.)

Backstop
Ottawa, we learned last week, will at last have a new archbishop. Pope Benedict XVI has appointed a Jesuit, Terrence Thomas Prendergast, to assume the pastoral care of the diocese’ half-million Catholics, succeeding the Most Reverend Marcel AndrĂ© J. Gervais. We’ve been waiting for this appointment for some time.

The Montreal-born Prendergast was most recently archbishop of the Halifax diocese, and chancellor of St Mary’s University; before that, an auxiliary bishop at Toronto. He is a teacher and writer, serving on the Canadian bishops’ theology commission, and doing a column in the Catholic Register. He is a Canadian member of Vox Clara, an international advisory commission on the English translation of the Roman Missal. According to websites, his hobbies include cycling, skating, “foreign films,” and most usefully, Italian cooking.

And he must have at least some slight capacity for drollery, judging from his immediate greeting to the inhabitants of Canada’s national capital region: “My request is that you please pray for me; I have already begun to pray for you.”

My reader will know I’m still a new Catholic, of only a few years’ standing. I know nothing of the new archbishop personally, and little second-hand. I am disposed to think well of any new appointment from Pope Benedict, who seems determined to move the Church, in Canada and elsewhere, forward from the disastrous “glib-liberal” era. He must choose among the people he has, however.

As Chesterton said, one of the biggest problems with the Catholic Church, is Catholics. They are human (like the members of other congregations), and given to being difficult, disobedient, and often downright sinful. Our media have -- whether usefully or not -- a special standard of perfection for any professing Catholic or other believing Christian, set well beyond the human, and make it their business to trash, whether justly or unjustly, anyone who might fall short.

Yet we need much of the Catholic hierarchy, in a time like this. We are desperately in need of people with not only the authority but the courage to invoke some moral, spiritual, and even intellectual standards. Not only Catholics need this; and not only Catholics benefit when Rome tries to hold the line -- against the cheap relativism that has come to govern our moral order, the weird gnosticism of contemporary spirituality, and the irrationalism that is displacing consecutive thought.

Evil has always been at large in the world, but what makes our age special is the degree to which what the previous pope called “the culture of death” has come to dominate the public forum. This applies broadly, both West and East. Here, in what was Christendom, we knowingly sacrifice babies on a scale unimaginable to the ancient Carthaginians, in the vast annual holocaust of abortions. There, in what was the Dar al-Islam, suicide bombings and terrorism are celebrated. And these are just leading indicators, of ghastly truths sunk deeper.

The Catholic Church, with well over a billion members worldwide -- markedly larger in number, and more universally distributed, than any other religious congregation -- would have a grave responsibility for upholding the good in this world, even without its transcendental claims. What it does and says has a huge effect, beyond the lives of its initiates. All men and women of goodwill -- Protestant, Orthodox, Jewish, Muslim, and many others, including those who profess no religion -- depend on Rome as a kind of backstop. Her pope and bishops have the most solemn duty to maintain difficult positions, that help others who are smaller hold their difficult positions, against the world’s ghastly realities.

Ontario’s premier, the nominally-Catholic Dalton McGuinty, was quoted in this newspaper on Wednesday, excusing himself from any obligation to obey Catholic teaching. He said, "I have a different constituency than does the Pope. I am responsible for representing all kinds of people from all kinds of different backgrounds, different faiths, different cultures, different traditions."

It is hard to imagine a statement more fatuous. Though also comic, to think of our little provincial apostate, claiming a broader constituency than the man who occupies the Throne of Peter.

It will be the solemn duty of Ottawa’s new archbishop, from his particular station at the heart of our nation’s political life, to stand up to that kind of cant -- not only for Catholics, but for all kinds of people from all kinds of different backgrounds, different faiths, different cultures, different traditions. For we share a vital interest in defeating moral, intellectual, and spiritual depravity.

Prayers Can Stop Murder

During a week when a four year old Milwaukee (Wisconsin, USA) girl was murdered by a drive-by shooter, some have doubted that prayer could help stop such crimes. They are wrong. Some prayers can do so.

The prayer of a red-capped judge, after imposing a death sentence, of "May God have mercy on your soul" (To which the Clerk says "Amen") would be a beginning. Following that, the prayers of a chaplain at a public execution by short/no-drop hanging or "musketry" (Perfectly "constitutional" at the time of the founding of this republic) would add its own "Amen" to the power of such prayers.

We have retreated from justice in the false-names of mercy, "evolving standards", sanitized death sentences and the like--All of which have nullified the meaning of "justice under law" and of the rights of the People to be free of supporting murderers for the rest of their unnatural lives in prison, free of the fear of such acts and to teach prospective drive by shooters and other like thugs and scum the public lesson needed.

Therefore, I suggest the following reforms:
Eliminate the differences between the varying, non-accidental, grades of homicide and treat them all as murder (Yes, I do include "Homicide By Intoxicated Use Of A Vehicle");
Require, by Law, all such cases to be exempt from all "plea bargains" and other like means of avoiding justice and the will of the People;
Require that all such cases receive absolute priority in both our trial courts and appeals courts, giving the defendant one choice (At the time of sentence) to either appeals by State courts or by Federal courts;
Require that such defendants have experienced legal counsel (To avoid appeals based on inexperienced legal advise);
Require that all executions be fully public (With no masks used) by short/no drop hanging or "musketry" as used at the time our Constitution was written, with the judge, DA, defense attorney(s) and six of the jurors, randomly selected from the jury (If any) at the trial to be present---Perhaps, with some carefully selected persons under probation or parole supervision present to bring home their future if they do not reform their behaviors.

We have tried other methods of controlling murderers and they have failed.

To which I cry out "Amen!".

Hamas-Fatah Truce Breaking & The West

The recent and nth failure of a "truce" between Hamas and Fatah in the Palestinian Terror-tories may be confusing to most in the West as too many do not understand the difference between the Western concept of "truce" and the Islamic-Arabic execution of the concept of Hudna. Both refer to the temporary stopping of overt, physical conflict. However, there are critical differences.

Within the Western “truce” the has always been the implication that such will lead to a long term peace, often based on negotiations and an expectation that the spirit of “truce” will be more important than the letter of a truce agreement. In Western tradition, any truce violations will be considered in proportion to their seriousness, with a reluctance to totally cancel the “truce” for minor reasons.

Within (At least, Arab) “Islam”, the term “hudna” implies only a period for regeneration of powers so that the stalled conflict may be again pursued with renewed vigor--By whichever party first sees an advantage to doing so. Any, no matter how slight, violation of “hudna” is considered sufficient to allow resumption of hostilities at the convenience of the aggressor'. Mohamed himself, in his feud with the Quraysh clan set the a very, very, firm example and almost holy guideline of this use of “hudna” as a tactical ploy.

We in the West will be unwise if we put any faith, what-so-ever, in any agreements with Muslims. If the followers of Mohammed are so willing to break hudna and go about murdering each others, what can we non-Muslims expect of them?

Let's Get Philosophical RE: Self-Defense

I think it well past the time when we should be educated (In non-academic terms) as to:
1. What "Natural Law" is;
2. What the Natural Law of self-defense and defense of
innocent others is; And,
3. Why having the ready means of exercising that right is basic
to all human rights---Especially when such "authorities" as
the police are too few and too late (As at Columbine HS and
Virgina Tech) or never take effective actions (As the UN in
the Darfur region of the Sudan).

This is specially important when so many innocents are now being attacked or threatened by "crazies", common criminals and international terrorists (eg Jihadi)

"Illegals" NOT Protected By The Constitution

Although I am not an attorney, I have studied the Constitution, with special attention to the Bill-Of-Rights and its 14th Amendment, the intent of the authors of those essential statements and have come to the following conclusions.

The 14th Amendment was intended to secure full civil rights to Black slaves born in the USA.

Nothing in that or any other part of our Constitution addresses the alleged "rights" or legal status of illegal immigrants.

In fact, it appears that illegal immigrants, by their unlawful entry into the USA, have excluded themselves from the jurisdiction of our nation (A precondition for protection under the 14th Amendment) and are, therefore, NOT entitled (By their own and voluntary actions) from any protections under the Constitution and Laws of the USA, including, but not limited to:
Any "rights" to a hearing before removal from the USA;
Any "rights" as to detention while awaiting such removal;
Any "rights" as to police search-and-seizure or bail in the
event of criminal charges;
Any "rights" to financial aid, health/social services, free public
education and other like benefits; AND,
The right granted legal immigrants to have USA citizenship
granted to their children born in our nation.

If they wish those rights, they should return from where they came and obtain legal entry into the USA.

George Santayana is credited with writing, "Those who cannot remember the past (history) are condemned to repeat it".

This certainly should apply and be a warning to:
A. Czar Vladimir Putin who should remember what happened
to the last Czar who used troops to put down peaceful
demonstrators;
B. The People of Spain as to the dangers of allowing Muslims
to infiltrate their nation destroying it from within (Until the wiser
Spaniards of that day expelled them all in 1492);
C. All of the Peoples of the civilized world (ie Western Europe)
who allowed the self-indulgence of corrupted paganism (So much
like our present "Secular Humanism") to pave the way for the
Dark Ages, the almost success of the ideology of Islam to take
over and "subject" (The real meaning and intent of "Islam") the
world and, thereby, destroy the questioning and learning which
would not have developed to rebirth civilization; And,
D. The "Great Unwashed And Unthinking" of the far left who forget
that real Americans will only tolerate a certain amount of treason
before taking effective, tar-and-feathers-like, measures
as NY City construction and office workers did in May, 1970 to
put down such undermining of this nation and insults to its
real heroes, cherished symbols and real liberties (Which do NOT
include the equivalent of falsely shouting "FIRE" in a crowded theater).

Construction Workers, Stock Exchange Suits, New York's Finest.... just two words; HELL YES!!

36 years ago today, communist led anti-war hippie scum (better known as The Great Unwashed) staged themselves at the George Washington statue on Wall Street and were waving Communist Viet Cong flags and burning, urinating and defecating on American flags, just like what had recently happened in Washington DC.

New York city construction workers (better known as The Hard Hats) had had enough. They proceeded to charge the hippie base camp and set up American flags, then pursued and thumped the living shit out of said Great Unwashed. What happened next, no one expected... the construction workers were unexpectedly joined by white collar office workers (better known as The Suits) from the New York Stock Exchange. The NYSE literally emptied as Suits fought shoulder to shoulder along side the Hard Hats.

Mayor John Lindsay ordered that all flags on City buildings be lowered to half mast due to the Kent State shootings, which the construction workers of New York overwhelmingly opposed. They threatened to overwhelm City Hall unless the flag was raised to full mast, which it was... by the construction workers themselves.

In an other unexpected turn of events, 150 NYPD officers assigned to City Hall didn't interfere while the Hard Hats and Suits taught the Great Unwashed a thing or two about manners, decorum, and patriotism. As the American flag was raised to full staff over City Hall, the construction workers asked Police Officers remove their riot helmets in respect. They did.

The Hard Hat Riots were followed by a series of pro-war rallies in New York almost every day during May. These rallies culminated in a large Wednesday, May 20, 1970, rally. Over 100,000 hard hats, stock brokers and other workers peacefully marched through the streets of downtown New York City. The rally was organized by the local New York City construction workers union to show support for President Nixon and the Vietnam War.

Funny, schools never teach about this.

A Thousand Year LIght Going Out

A thousand years ago the Western Roman Empire was well and truly dead and gone. It was self-destroyed beneath waves of barbarians, its own weight and its unwillingness to let go of the residual errors of the pagan world-view and of reliance on slave-labor in "efficient" substitution for the family farms of earlier days.

Yet, at that time new lights and a new civilization were being lit throughout Western Europe, first in monasteries, then in the exploding number of Catholic-Christian (There were no others) universities. The light carrying travels of scholars was followed by the goods transporters of the merchants, ancestors of the free-enterprise system which has enriched more people in less time than any looting armies of barbarians.

Soon after that came the first efforts at resisting the horrid teachings and acts of Islamic aggressors which, if they failed in the Holy Land, certainly succeeded in Southern France, Iberia, the borders of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, the gates of Vienna, the bay of Lepanto, in Greece and other and diverse places.

Those battles with Islam overlapped the battles with other forms of ignorance in the worlds of philosophy, science, geography, music and art all leading to the age of exploration without the physical boundaries of Europe and the boundaries of prior and stilted arts, invention and such political thought as the suppression of tyrannies and the roots of democracy..

Europe and its citizens blazed with a most humane glory!

Yet, the light of Europe is now dimming and may go out. Why? I offer the following and possible reasons.

Europe and its collective culture has lost sight of the fact that its civilization is based on the radiant hopes of a forward looking Catholic-Christianity and has replaced that with the culture, if that is the word, of immediate gratification without regard to history or the future. Its universities have forgotten that their strongest roots are deeply buried in that Faith and in the reason and logic St. Thomas, St. Albert and others developed---Trading all of that for the "political correctness" of each day's pseudo-intellectuals who attempt to destroy any views (Or even questions or questioners) they view as varying from their, for the moment, view of what is true. These attacks on rational thought have now even spread to the world of science where they should not even be considered.

Political progress has been drowned under waves, not of barbarians with swords, but bureaucrats with undemocratic rules and regulations AND with piles of forms: Such non-servants of the public allowing no questioning of their often self-proclaimed authority. The corruption of political leaders, so divorced from the People, is also a well known factor in public disservice.

The removal of power and authority from the People and its concentration in the hands of the wealthy has been an ongoing threat to real civilization for all times. That movement is demonstrated by such examples as the EU's attempts to go around the defeat of its proposed Constitution (Which ignored the Faith base to its culture), the substitution of administrative-bureaucratic rules for laws passed by the People's elected representatives, limiting free speech and press (Even if a means of foolish expression), destruction of the culture of the small and family owned-and-operated farms in the name of "efficiency" and, according to some, restrictions on the private ownership of effective weapons as a basis of potential limiting of abusive governments.


The will to resist the criminal-terrorist ideology of Islam has all but been extinguished in Europe. Today's Europeans are so lacking in an understanding of the history of that threat that all of the sacrifices of so many of their ancestors have been wasted and they will be condemned to repeat a history of Islamic conquest as is already becoming evident in France, Spain and Londonistan.

To the citizens of such nations as the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand I suggest that you carefully look about you for the same signs of impending destruction of thought, freedom, opportunity and, most of all, the one true civilization---Which WAS that founded in Western Europe.

How much money does it take to screw in a compact fluorescent light bulb? About US$4.28 for the bulb and labour -- unless you break the bulb. Then you, like Brandy Bridges of Ellsworth, Maine, could be looking at a cost of about US$2,004.28, which doesn't include the costs of frayed nerves and risks to health.
Sound crazy? Perhaps no more than the stampede to ban the incandescent light bulb in favour of compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs).
According to an April 12 article in The Ellsworth American, Bridges had the misfortune of breaking a CFL during installation in her daughter's bedroom: It dropped and shattered on the carpeted floor.
Aware that CFLs contain potentially hazardous substances, Bridges called her local Home Depot for advice. The store told her that the CFL contained mercury and that she should call the Poison Control hotline, which in turn directed her to the Maine Department of Environmental Protection.

The DEP sent a specialist to Bridges' house to test for mercury contamination. The specialist found mercury levels in the bedroom in excess of six times the state's "safe" level for mercury contamination of 300 billionths of a gram per cubic meter. The DEP specialist recommended that Bridges call an environmental cleanup firm, which reportedly gave her a "low-ball" estimate of US$2,000 to clean up the room. The room then was sealed off with plastic and Bridges began "gathering finances" to pay for the US$2,000 cleaning. Reportedly, her insurance company wouldn't cover the cleanup costs because mercury is a pollutant.
Given that the replacement of incandescent bulbs with CFLs in the average U.S. household is touted as saving as much as US$180 annually in energy costs -- and assuming that Bridges doesn't break any more CFLs -- it will take her more than 11 years to recoup the cleanup costs in the form of energy savings.
The potentially hazardous CFL is being pushed by companies such as Wal-Mart, which wants to sell 100 million CFLs at five times the cost of incandescent bulbs during 2007, and, surprisingly, environmentalists.
It's quite odd that environmentalists have embraced the CFL, which cannot now and will not in the foreseeable future be made without mercury. Given that there are about five billion light bulb sockets in North American households, we're looking at the possibility of creating billions of hazardous waste sites such as the Bridges' bedroom.
Usually, environmentalists want hazardous materials out of, not in, our homes. These are the same people who go berserk at the thought of mercury being emitted from power plants and the presence of mercury in seafood. Environmentalists have whipped up so much fear of mercury among the public that many local governments have even launched mercury thermometer exchange programs.
As the activist group Environmental Defense urges us to buy CFLs, it defines mercury on a separate part of its Web site as a "highly toxic heavy metal that can cause brain damage and learning disabilities in fetuses and children" and as "one of the most poisonous forms of pollution."
Greenpeace also recommends CFLs while simultaneously bemoaning contamination caused by a mercury-thermometer factory in India. But where are mercury-containing CFLs made? Not in the United States, under strict environmental regulation. CFLs are made in India and China, where environmental standards are virtually non-existent.
And let's not forget about the regulatory nightmare in the U.S. known as the Superfund law, the EPA regulatory program best known for requiring expensive but often needless cleanup of toxic waste sites, along with endless litigation over such cleanups.
We'll eventually be disposing billions and billions of CFL mercury bombs. Much of the mercury from discarded and/or broken CFLs is bound to make its way into the environment and give rise to Superfund liability, which in the past has needlessly disrupted many lives, cost tens of billions of dollars and sent many businesses into bankruptcy.
As each CFL contains five milligrams of mercury, at the Maine "safety" standard of 300 nanograms per cubic meter, it would take 16,667 cubic meters of soil to "safely" contain all the mercury in a single CFL. While CFL vendors and environmentalists tout the energy cost savings of CFLs, they conveniently omit the personal and societal costs of CFL disposal.
Not only are CFLs much more expensive than incandescent bulbs and emit light that many regard as inferior to incandescent bulbs, they pose a nightmare if they break and require special disposal procedures. Yet governments (egged on by environmentalists and the Wal-Marts of the world) are imposing on us such higher costs, denial of lighting choice, disposal hassles and breakage risks in the name of saving a few dollars every year on the electric bill? - Steven Milloy publishes JunkScience.com and CSRWatch.com. Freedom Of VS From Religion

In California grade school students have been required, without notice to or permission from their parents, to recite Islamic prayers and practice Muslim forms of worship. However, "California Values" (A watered down version of "San Francisco Values") do not appear (Please see the column below) to allow a teacher to post, non-denominational, materials referring to God and the Creator, even when such are based on the most patriotic statements in our nation's traditions, which traditions are approved by most Americans.

Some might consider the actions of the noted school district an actual attack on the USA and, therefore, treason. For myself, I see those actions as the ongoing attempts of members of the
Secular Humanist (Atheist) religion to suppress the religious beliefs of others.

San Diego School District Removes "God" from the Classroom: Thomas More Law Center Files Suit on Behalf of Teacher
ANN ARBOR, MI – The Thomas More Law Center, a national public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, announced today that it has filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against the Poway Unified School District, located in San Diego, California. The lawsuit was brought on behalf of Brad Johnson, a respected teacher who has been teaching in the school district for 30 years. The lawsuit claims that school officials violated Johnson’s constitutional rights by ordering him to remove several educational banners from his classroom walls because, according to these officials, the banners promote a “Judeo-Christian” viewpoint.

The banners, which Johnson had displayed in his classroom without complaint for nearly 25 years, contained the following phrases: “In God We Trust,” the official motto of the United States; “One Nation Under God,” the 1954 amendment to the Pledge of Allegiance; “God Bless America,” a patriotic song considered to be the unofficial national anthem of the United States; “God Shed His Grace On Thee,” a line from “America the Beautiful,” a popular patriotic song; and “All Men Are Created Equal, They Are Endowed By Their Creator,” an excerpt from the preamble to the Declaration of Independence. School officials objected to the banners because they included the words “God” and “Creator.”

Richard Thompson, President and Chief Counsel for the Law Center, commented, “Cleansing our Nation’s classrooms of our religious heritage and history and imposing viewpoint restrictions on speech to silence such expressions advance no legitimate educational purpose. In fact, such actions undermine the primary purpose of public education: to prepare students for citizenship in our Republic.”

The lawsuit alleges that the school district violated Johnson’s constitutional rights by imposing a viewpoint-based restriction on his speech. It further alleges that this restriction “serves no valid educational purpose, is not reasonably related to any legitimate pedagogical concern, and conveys a government-sponsored message of disapproval of and hostility toward religion” in violation of the United States and California Constitutions.

Robert Muise, the Law Center attorney handling the case, commented, “It is without question that religious people founded this Nation. As a result, references to God are common in our songs, mottoes, and slogans. And it is the responsibility of our Nation’s public schools to educate students to be informed citizens. Consequently, it is the responsibility of all public school teachers, including Mr. Johnson, to educate students regarding our Nation’s history and its founding. Mr. Johnson’s educational banners serve that purpose.”

The lawsuit seeks to have the speech restriction overturned so that Johnson can continue to display his banners, as he had been for 25 years

Children Of Illegal Immigrants

If Ivan Boris Doe and Juan Batista Roe embezzle money from their employers, fail to pay lawful taxes, rob banks and on-the-street citizens and put all of their illegal gains in a trust fund for their children, are those children entitled to those funds? I think not.

If Ivan Boris Doe and Juan Batista Roe illegally come to the USA and engender children here, are those children entitled to the benefits of US citizenship? That is a debatable legal issue!

Section-1 of the 14th Amendment to our Constitution gives the rights of citizenship only to those persons under the jurisdiction of this nation. Illegal immigrants have, by their unlawful entry into the USA, avoided that jurisdiction. Therefore, they have no more rights to give the highly valued fact of citizenship to their children born here than would the above noted Ivan Doe or Juan Roe have to pass on their ill gotten gains to their children.

This concept has not been tested in the Courts; But, it should be. After all, the 14th Amendment was designed to deal with slaves who had just been given freedom and NOT immigrants.

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
